Summer Program

Parents, register your kids, beginning the week of June 13th! We have great weekly reading incentives and special prizes. Kids can read to unlock the bead treasure chest and earn books for Kids in the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. We also have an awesome line-up of family programs ready to go.

Friday, June 24th, 10:30am | Live Reptiles & Amphibians, Craft

Trees for Tomorrow presents “Reptiles & Amphibians” live and up close! Plus, stay for the floating turtle craft. Who’s slimy and who’s not? Students take a close-up look at the differences between reptiles and amphibians and learn more about species found in Wisconsin. Participants will have an opportunity to observe TFT’s own reptiles up close!

Friday, July 8th, 10:30am | Animal Tracks Program, Craft

Presented by Trees for Tomorrow. Students explore real-life animal tracks and other animal signs. Then, students use Plaster of Paris with rubber molds to create an animal track in this make-and take program.

Friday, July 22nd, 10:30am | Skulls, Skins and Bones Program, Craft

Trees for Tomorrow presents “Skulls, Skins and Bones”  followed by a Feather & Bead Necklace Craft. Students will identify animals by their skulls, skins, and bones. We will be looking at the structure and function of different parts of animals and what they can tell us about that animal.
